Puppy Primer- In Home Consultation: Looking for some help with the basics of raising a puppy? We offer private sessions for you and your family. For more information click here.
Novice Foundation Class: This is the first level of training and socialization for all puppies & dogs. We will cover all the basics: walking nicely on a leash, sit, down, stay, leave it and the recall. We will also address any behavioural issues such as: jumping up, barking, chewing, digging, nipping, stealing, etc. Classes run one evening per week for an hour. 7 week session
Prerequisite: Puppies/dogs must have completed their 2nd set of vaccinations.
Intermediate Obedience: This session will focus on polishing the basic skills (heel, sit, stay, down, come) especially around tempting distractions. Off-leash heeling, hand signals & working from a distance are taught in this level. For some fun, we introduce tunnels & jumps at this level. Classes run one evening per week for an hour. 7 week session
Prerequisite: Novice Foundations class or equivalent training.
Obedience & Agility Combo: Level I - This course combines the fun and excitement of agility with advanced obedience work. Tunnels, jumps, dog walk, hoop, table and spread jump are taught in this level. On the obedience side, we will focus on off-leash heeling, hand signals, working from a distance and overall proofing of the dog's skills around a variety of distractions. Classes run one evening per week for an hour. 7 week session.
Prerequisite: Novice Foundations class or equivalent training.
Obedience & Agility Combo: Level II
Continuing to build on the skills learned in Level I, handlers will learn to guide their dogs through fun & challenging courses and sequences. Classes run one evening per week for an hour. 7 week session
Prerequisite: Obedience & Agility Level I or equivalent training.
Private Lessons: Looking for an alternative to group sessions? Private lessons are also available. Each session is designed to focus on the specific skills or concerns you may have.
